Been kicking it around for some time, and finally today got my ass in gear, hopped over to my local shop, and picked up a Boss PW-10 V-Wah. I played it and a Vox Clyde McCoy several weeks ago and decided I liked the Boss overall... This thing is so versital it isn't funny... it will emulate the Crybaby, and Vox846, the Morley Bad Horsie, has two new Wah effects, plus gives you 6 different distortion effects ranging from the Big Muff to the BD-2 Blues Driver... I've been noodling about an hour and a half now and still have a long way to go to determine just how many different tones it'll make... even has a seting to use it as a bass wah... Check it out here

Hey Romdos whats a Vox Clyde MCcoy?
Looks way cool, but too complicated for my peabrain. i tried a Danelectro wah with the plastic body and gave that to my cousins son, then tried a Badhorsie wah and gave that to my nephew, currently use an older crybaby which belongs to my rythm guitarist and keep meaning to have my ancient original crybaby pot replaced.

The Clyde McCoy by Vox is a Wah pedal named after trumpet player Clyde McCoy, as that was the sound the Wah pedal imitated... a muted trumpet... It features a true pass thru, and the ability to run on AC power... It's nice, but ran more than the boss, and didn't do as much... this one does go Wah when you push the pedal Jossy... it'll just do it in 8 or 10 different ways... :) It is somewhat complex, but the versatility more than makes up for it being somewhat obtuse to figure out...

Interesting...8 or 10 different ways...sounds fun. What other pedal do you use to combine it?

You're welcome OW... Jossy, my current setup includes the following Boss pedals... CS-2 Compression Sustainer, CE-2 Chorus, OS-2 Overdrive/Distortion, BF-2 Flanger, DD-2 Digital Delay, and they are all driven ac wise by the TU-2 Tuner... I can use any of them in conjunction with the Wah, the Wah however will model the Crybaby, the Vox V846 (Clyde McCoy) the Morley Bad Horsie, 2 new Boss Wah effects, one of which includes something called Double resonnance, it'll work with my bass, and has voice and Uni Vibe effects built in... it also has built in distortion, plus will model a Big Muff, Boss Turbo Zone, Turbo Overdrive, Marshall Guvnor, and a couple more, in any combination of wah selections, plus a clean Boost setting... one of the nicest pedals I've bought... on a side note, I am selling a Boss OC-2 Octave pedal... comes in the original box, with manual and all included literature for 50.00... I have it at the local used shop on consignment right now, but if there is any interest here, I'll pick it up and ship... looking for 50.00 plus shipping...

Don'tcha know you are supposed to have your guitar tech on the side of the stage operating the wah for you? That leaves you free to jump around, do high kicks, and the splits! :clown2:
