That won't bust me.

Around $250.00 Canadian. I know I ain't gonna get no Martin for that or a Taylor but c'mon, there has to be something out there, decent, well made, with somewhat of a good tone for a honest buck.

Names and brands make no diff to me. Sound and playability count, as do looks. Usually I'm not so petty on looks but I don't wanna look to cheap!

Any ideas for something new?

I'm off to do an eBay search......thanks.......:music-smi

Yep... gonna agree with Aaron. He looked at several brands, and I asked him to find an RF8 or RD8 by Alvarez. A great guitar for the money, and it comes with a top notch hardshell case. They look great and sound really good. Well worth the money. (The RF8 is a smaller Folk style body shape, while the RD8 is a Dreadnaught.)

I also have a Dean Exotica, and with a few upgrades (replace plastic with bone and ebony parts) it is a pretty nice guitar as well, although it costs a little bit more right around ($350 without case), and is a little more flashier.

I got a Fender DG100, and although it's bit more than $250, it's well worth it. It's not a solid top, but it sounds great, and it looks classy.

How about staying "Canadian?" How about Seagal? The S6 is a nice guitar! I
