I use D'addario's, either 9s, 10s, or 11s.
What do yo use?

D'Addario and Ernie Ball. Use to just use D'Addario but the Ernie Ball Heavy Bottom Slinky's sound good on my Tele.
Usually 10's. Tried 11's, no noticeable improvement in tone. Not much more difficult to play than 10's. Although with my playing, who'd notice. :rock-guit

11-gauge Ernie Ball Power Slinky strings, or 11-gauge Fender stainless steel Bullets. I use a .60 mm Dunlop Tortex orange pick.

On Strat it was suggest by tech and teacher to use D'Addario XL Super Light .009 - .042. Same gauge as the guitar came with.
On Maton acoustic I am using D'Addario EJ16 Phosphor Bronze Light, again recommended. I have had no problems with either, so reluctant to change.

D'Addario 8s. (Woo lightest strings here!) And I love them. Bending is awesome, the tone is great. I'll never go back to whatever the hell was on my Les Paul.

I use Ernie Ball 10's most of times....sometimes, when i like to play only blues, i'll go with 13's and tune half a step down...is good for developing strong fingers and good bendings...i only use 13's after having warming up with a set of 10's...carpal tunel gives me the creeps...take care of the old hands, you know?

Being a Michigan boy, I'd be remiss if I used anything else..I use:
On my Venus:
GHS Boomers 10-52s, although I'm going to be switching soon to the Nickel Rockers which are semi-flat..
on my Epi Les Paul:
GHS Infinity Steels 10-46
On Yamaha Acoustic:
GHS Bright Bronze 10-46
Rogue Mandolin:
GHS Phosphor Bronze 10-36

i am a pretty big guy and pretty strong to but i still use 9s i think my strat is just happier with 9s, it tends to stay in tune better, and i am sure it does not have as much tone as the 10s did but it sounds good enuf.
i use ernie balls, daddrio, kind of whatever i want to get at the time u know...

D'Addario 10's on all my electrics except for my Tele - it gets D'Addario 9.5's - they feel just right

EB 10's or DR Blues 10's. Looking into going to 11's. Been doing so much acoustic work that the 10's are starting to feel too slinky. And I do not suffer from "Girly Hands."
Good one Dark! And glad that you don't suffer from "Man Hands! " :bannana_g

Dads on Everything! 10s with the exception of the 50th Anniversary which strangely seems to be much nicer with 9s?
I was using 11s on the "Rory", but I'm happier with it set up for 10s and when it sounds as powerful as it does anyway......... seemed pretty irrelevant.
Has anyone here had the chance to try these Snakeoil Strings that we hear so much about?

I just remember that Wn'W has a very nice article about strings, it is very good reading and as you guys know, he is a very dedicated man and has a very clear vision about guitars and music...

Yeah WnW's article makes for good reading, any new brands added Ray?
I always use Rotosound Yellows (10's) on my electrics. Good value and decent quality strings IMHO. Martin 12's on my acoustic, although may plump up to 13's soon.

I use Ernie Ball 10/46's on my strat, but just bought some Elixir nanoweb 10/46's to try.
We'll see if they're worth the extra...
