View Full Version : Totally aint my thing, but this kid has some serious skills!
This dude plays a Gibson Firebird like noone Ive seen before. There are videos of his playing all over the net. Shredding aint my thing but it still impresses me that someone can learn this shit. (http://youtube.com/watch?v=d8eFgownK2w)

Some great runs there, a hint of SRV amongst playing as many notes as humanly possible in the shortest possible time
Nice playing, faster than I'll ever be able to play (or perhaps want to?...) The only thing about the shred aspect is that I tend to get bored after the first 60 seconds - as you said, respect for learning and practising hard to get that fast and that accurate, but it just tends to sound a little "samey" if you get what I maen.
Check out "Arpeggios from Hell" if you haven't, that's some very nice runs if you can stand to look at/listen to the big guy from Sweden is it?
Haha yeah I dont think I could watch a whole video on shredding. I would like to be able to do some nice faster runs but I just cant bring myself to go through all the Stevie Vai stuff to get there. I think its all cool enough but it gets damn boring pretty quickly.
