Worked in LA today and didn't have time to make it to Tustin by 3 PM. So...Looks like tomorrow or Monday. How I miss it...and how my fingers are going to pay the price of not playin a steel acoustic for well over a week!

I will be picking her up tomorrow. (How I hate working in DT LA!)

I'll be sure to give a full report after we have had some quality time alone. :smoke:

Got the G'Tar back today. One word wraps it up. "WOW"

The new FMI saddle gave the guitar more sustain, a bit more depth and volume. And all with out making it chimmy or unbalaced. A very noticable improvement!

The biggest difference is in the playability department. My luthier reworked the nut, leveled/polished the frets (not much work was needed here) , lowered the new saddle (just a smidge) and adjusted the relief. You can really attack a string with out any buzz. And the amount of force needed to fret a string is remarkably less. It amazes me. What a HUGE difference a very small adjustment to the nut makes!

All I can say to anyone is this. Get a pro set-up. Your ears and fingers will love you for it! It was worth every dime. :bannana_g

A friend who owns a 1940 mahagony top Martin came over earlier tonight. Almost had to rip the 00-15 out of his hands. He liked it that much. Looks like I met my goal!

EDIT: BTW...He just called and is ordering a 00-15! 15 series guitars are cheap...and louded with MOJO. I have an order in for a 000-15s...still hasn't come through. I may just end up buying used. TG for E-bay!
