did you guys hear that fender bought out tacoma guitars. i love tacomas but not a lot of people know about them from the responses i get when i ask. i hope they can get there production up and get them more renown.

This happened quite awhile back. It was a rumour going around most of 2004, and it happened officially October 7th, 2004. They are still building the Tacoma lines in Washington, and they have moved all Guild acoustic production to that facility as well.

i didnt know it was os old as october. Tacoma And Guild....... my 2 favorite brands of acoustics.

I've not played a Fender-owned Tacoma yet. But the old Tacoma's were very sweet. That would have been my next choice when I was acoustic shopping, but I went Taylor instead. But I would love to add a Tacoma to the collection on down the road!
