Very nice and at such a good price, I would have bought one too!

What I did with my old Studio was replace all the plastics with cream coloured. Help them "stand out". I perfer the knobs you have over the Top-hats, though. But like I said, I swapped out the pup rings, pickup selector knob and ring, ect...with cream. Looked good IMO.

I like the knobs he has on there now, too, over the top-hats. If he did change the black rings out for cream, then maybe gold speed knobs would look good.

Congrats, Shovelman! That is one fine looking guitar!

It just screws off, if I remember right. If I can do it, anybody can, lol.

The reason I like your volume and tone knobs better: I find that style easier to turn with the side of my hands....I've always adjusted them while playing.

That's sweet man. I came really close to getting one til I found a studio on flea-bay! As far as the knobs, I favor the chrome tophat bell knobs.

I've got those on my strat and they go well with my mother-of-toilet-seat pickguard, but, IMO, they would NOT look good on this particular Les Paul. Just my 2 cents worth.
