Hey Y`all
Have a Jay Turser JTA-40ceq - have had it about 5 months now and was wondering about changing the strings to nylon -.When I bought it the shop lowered the action and put light gauge stings on it. Seeing as its an acoustic/electric will this cause any major problems - am starting to get into travis picking and have seen a number of guitars with nylon strings that were not classical guitars but " folk " style guitars .
Thanks for any feed back

Fender - Thanks you`re probably right about not going to nylon strings.
Not real sure of the sound I was looking for ~ But ~ getting a classical seems to be the better choice instead of messing up the sound the J has .
See ya live in PA. I live right accross the river from Harrisburg - Grew up here - split when I was 20 something and now 25 years later Here I am -back on the same old stomping grounds I grew up in LOL Checking out the Wittiker Center - looks like they have some good stuff coming up in the near future.
Saw Delbert McClinton there last year - ALSOME show - Anyway thanks again
