I'd go for the Belle NBTB's. You already are the proud owner of a 000-28ec. Plus, just think of what it is going to be like being the first one on the block to have one? I want that review! :bannana_g

Erik....

Wish you had been with me at the Fountain Valley GC....They had a few interesting guitars. 70's D-28's of all things. 72 and 73. They 72 was "MINT!" Just a bit of wear on the number 2 fret from g to high e. They were asking $2,495 for it....Bring it WAY DOWN....Might have made a deal on the AX. It was sweet! DARK!!!! REAL DARK...SANG....LONG TONE....W/Ugly strings.......... And I do not normally like Dreds. The 73 was everything that we already know about the 70's...and true...same old ...same old...

And 2 Ec's to choose from. I do like a 1.75 width......The EC V neck is just not for me......I have tried so hard to like it....Great with single notes...love the short scale....bend and not just "bend" but higher than "higher" ...wave......wave...feel...schwimmy the notes.....But my hand cramps.....Going to either a 28 "OM" with the 1.75 modified "C" neck or sticking to a 000-28 with a 1 11/16 with a modified C... I more than can see how a "THUMB" player would benifit from the 1.75 V shape as in the "EC" models....

Give me a 000-28EC with a 1 3/4 C neck.....I will buy it today!!!!

EDIT: I normally do not go to the FV store...Too many kids....But it is close to where I work....And it was a good day!

The OM is nice, but ya gotta watch the fret edges over the binding on the neck. The one I played tended to get the first string stuck under a fret edge.
