Some months ago I replaced the stock pickups on my strat. At the same time I made some changes to the wiring so that both the neck and middle pickups are controlled by one tone pot, and the bridge is controlled by the second. I was excited how it would sound. But happily....
....I haven't had a single regret! Now I use the bridge/middle combination 90% of the time with the middle tone on 10 and the bridge tone on 4-7. It's a great sound, clear but brown, tight but loose.
Have anybody else tried this? If yes, what's your experiences?
