Default Trials with different types of bridge pins...

On my 00-15 I have tried a few types of bridge pins to see if I could discern a tonal difference. Original plastic, ebony and TUSQ.

I did not find much of a difference between the original plastic pins and the TUSQ pins. But I will say that the difference was more than apparent when I switched to the ebony pins. The ebony pins seemed to give my guitar a bit more sustain and really enhance the over all tone. Hard to explain, but the notes seem clearer, more complex, fuller and warmer.

Have you tried changing bridge pins? What were your results?
